Kite Competitions
The Balinese absolutely love to fly their self-made kites. During windy season – July, August – the island’s skies are filled with colorful kites of all shapes and sizes. Competitions are taken very seriously and a lot of time is spent on the creation of remarkable kites. It is quite exciting to be witness to such competitions.
